Secure source code review in Saudi Arabia: fix vulnerabilities before they ship

We review your code manually and with tooling to find vulnerabilities, hard-coded secrets and risky dependencies, then help your developers fix them and keep them fixed through the pipeline.

  • Manual review of critical logic, tools for coverage
  • Dependencies and secrets checked too
  • Findings in your tracker, fixes in your language

01Overview

What is secure source code review?

Secure source code review is a systematic examination of an application's source code to find security flaws such as injection, broken authentication, insecure cryptography and exposed secrets, so they can be fixed before the software is released or while it is in production.

Testing a running application shows what is reachable. Reviewing the code shows why, and finds flaws no test happened to trigger. The two together give the strongest assurance.

We combine automated static analysis for coverage with manual review of the code that matters most: authentication, authorisation, payments, data handling and cryptography.

02What we do

Six parts of a code security programme

Use one for a release, or all six as a continuous programme.

01

Manual security code review

Experienced reviewers read the code that carries the most risk.

What you receive

Findings no tool reports, with root cause.

  • Authentication and session logic
  • Authorisation and multi-tenancy
  • Payments and sensitive data flows
  • Cryptography and key handling
02

Static analysis (SAST)

Automated scanning across the whole codebase, tuned to remove noise.

What you receive

Broad coverage with low noise.

  • Rule tuning for your stack
  • False-positive triage
  • Trend reporting
  • Developer-friendly output
03

Dependencies (SCA)

Open-source components checked for known vulnerabilities and licence risk.

What you receive

A software bill of materials and an upgrade plan.

  • Direct and transitive dependencies
  • Vulnerability and exploitability context
  • Licence review
  • Upgrade guidance
04

Secrets detection

Keys, tokens and passwords committed to repositories or pipelines.

What you receive

Exposed secrets found and rotated.

  • Current code and history
  • Cloud and API keys
  • Rotation guidance
  • Pre-commit protection
05

Pipeline security

Security checks that run on every build, without slowing teams down.

What you receive

Security as part of the build.

  • CI/CD integration
  • Quality gates by severity
  • Infrastructure-as-code scanning
  • Container image checks
06

Developer training

Hands-on secure coding sessions using your own findings.

What you receive

Fewer repeat findings.

  • Language-specific workshops
  • OWASP Top 10 labs
  • Threat modelling basics
  • Security champions programme

03How we work

A review loop that fits how you ship

We review, fix and re-check in short cycles rather than one large report.

  1. 01

    Scope

Repositories, languages, risk areas and the review depth.

  2. 02

    Scan

    Automated analysis across the codebase.

  3. 03

    Review

Manual review of the high-risk code.

  4. 04

    Triage

Validate findings and remove false positives.

  5. 05

    Fix

Developers fix with our guidance and patterns.

  6. 06

    Verify

    Re-scan and confirm closure.

06Saudi Arabia and the GCC

Why code review matters for Saudi organisations

Software built for the Kingdom increasingly carries regulated data.

  • NCA

    NCA application security

The ECC expects secure development practices for applications, and critical systems face stricter requirements.

  • Confidentiality

    Source stays in your control

We can review on your premises or in your repositories, so code does not leave your environment.

  • Finance

    Fintech and ZATCA integrations

Payment and e-invoicing integrations handle sensitive and signed data and deserve manual review.

07Why GoAgile

Why developers like working with our reviewers

We write software, so we write fixes, not just findings.

Reviewers who code

Our own engineers review your code.

Works in your pipeline

Tickets in your tracker, checks in your CI.

Code stays with you

On-premises or in-repository review.

Training from your findings

Developers learn from their own code.

Clear, prioritised output

Ports and logistics operatorApplication penetration test

Web, API and mobile testing for a logistics platform

A customer-facing platform was about to launch and needed independent assurance.

  • Manual testing against the OWASP standards
  • Business-logic and authorisation testing
  • Retest to confirm fixes

Result: Critical issues fixed before launch and developers trained on the patterns found.

Tier-1 Saudi bankRed team exercise

A threat-led red team exercise for a bank

The bank needed evidence that its people, processes and detection would hold up against a realistic attacker, in line with SAMA expectations.

  • Agreed rules of engagement and a threat scenario with the CISO
  • Ran a controlled exercise against production systems
  • Ran a purple team workshop so defenders could see every step

Result: Detection gaps were fixed, playbooks were updated and the board received a plain-language report.

National energy operatorOT security assessment

OT assessment and segmentation for an energy operator

Plant networks had grown without a clear map, and remote access for vendors was a concern.

  • Passive discovery of OT assets without touching production
  • Purdue-model segmentation design and industrial firewall rules
  • Secure remote access for vendors with session recording

Result: A mapped, segmented network with a prioritised remediation plan the plant team could schedule.

10Questions answered

Secure Source Code Review FAQs

What is the difference between SAST and manual code review?

SAST tools scan code automatically for known patterns and give broad coverage. Manual review by an expert finds logic, authorisation and design flaws that tools cannot understand. We use both.

Which programming languages do you review?

Java, .NET (C#), JavaScript and TypeScript, Python, PHP, Go, Swift, Kotlin and others commonly used in enterprise and mobile development.

Can you review code on our premises?

Yes. We can work inside your environment or repositories, so source code does not leave your control.

How long does a source code review take?

It depends on the size and risk areas. A focused review of the critical components can take a week or two, while a full codebase review takes longer.

Do you check open-source dependencies?

Yes. Software composition analysis finds known vulnerabilities and licence risks in direct and transitive dependencies.

Can you integrate checks into our CI/CD pipeline?

Yes. We add static analysis, dependency, secrets and infrastructure-as-code checks with quality gates agreed with your teams.

Will you help developers fix the findings?

Yes. Every finding includes root cause and a recommended fix, and we offer workshops and pair-fixing sessions.
